I took advantage of an opportunity yesterday to meet with 270 potential real estate investors and volunteered to help out with their tour. A group called REIN: Real Estate Investing Network based out of Calgary took a whirlwind tour of some of the towns that they have deemed to be the 'top ten places to invest in Ontario.' Barrie and Orillia are rated as tied for number 2 behind Kitchener, Waterloo, Cambridge (the technology triangle) based on their systems. It is amazing when you see five coaches roll in and a mass of people coming towards you to learn about your city, the opportunities, and to make relationships with local Realtors. There were no talks of what a terrible market it is but just of what an opportunity this time brings to invest in the market.
